Default Bank Accounts...

I have a question.

I am going to open 6 bank accounts, 3 new ones with one bank(my old bank) and 3 new ones with another bank..

When your paypals get limited and you close the bank account attached to that paypal and open up a new account... Don't the bank give you a hard time on why you're doing it? IDK what to tell the bank...

Bank of America is fine.

And I would just tell the bank that you lost your checkbook or debit card. They will close the account in question and open a new one.

Of course, there are only so many times you can use that. But it works on occasion.

Yeah. And once you get approved by B of A, and probably most other banks, it is easy to open multiple accounts. Just don't overdo it.

Dont over do it for sure!

I opened 15 checking accounts with Chase in a two month period on-line. They didnt like that and closed them all. I went to the branch and was told they would be more than happy to open new ones for me at the branch. It was just the fact that so many were opened on-line so fast corporate didn't like it. There was nothing the branch could do to save those.

So now im with HSBC (savings accounts instead there) and GreenDot....... (opening them much more slowly)and looking for other banks as well.

Yeah opening 15 accounts with the same bank in 2 months is a huge red flag for them. Spread your accounts around several banks and you will have better success.

You don't always have to close them either, make a excuse for them to change the account number Like you have just split with your partner and they know all your details and you think they might use them.

No need to worry about what to tell them...people close accounts all the time.
