Nightmare day on eBay
 

Sold an item for $4900 on bidding. The winning bidder has contacted me before it ended asking whether or not cash on collection would be okay, I said yes. Then after they put a bid in, they won it. About 5 minutes later they said "they no longer wanted it because they want a different version now". Not much I can do about this. Then I offer a second change to the other bidder, he then accuses me of shill bidding and says he's reported me!

I hear you - you got caught with a deadbeat - do a unpaid claim for the fees and relist pronto. Sadly not much you can do - how's his feedback?

I don't understand why the guy would state that you're shill bidding when he is getting a cheaper price on the item he bidded on, and tried to win. He should be happy that he is getting a cheaper price with your 2nd chance offer.

Dang, im sorry that happened to you, that's sucks, report that user as soon as possible and give ebay CS the message logs as your proof! :peace:

maybe the first buyer is the same second buyer trying to take you down? or i could be wrong?

I'd put them both on your blocked list
