Ebay selling
 

Hi all
I have a question for everyone.
How can some people sell things on ebay and have the item removed(me).
Then there are people who are selling the same thing and have bene selling
them for months and never have the items removed.Do you think it have something to do with the other person being a power seller.I have had my ebay account for 10yrs.Any information would be helpful.

its probably a vero item.

Ebay told me it was vero but that isnt the problem.I just want to know why was i shut down and the other person is going strong.We are selling the same item. When i did talk to ebay the guy at the other end felt bad and he even told me that the other seller was getting special treratment because they are power seller.Some crap there.

Boxer1978. I think ebay gives special treatment to the powersellers because not all of ebay members can become powerselllers.

I think ebay has used small time sellers, now they WANT those high street retailers. ebay has made it's money now the once upon a time the small sellers are goodbye of them

Maybe they are vero members, thats why i asked. if they have permission from the verified owners to sell their products they can report you since they have permisson to take out sellers that do not have permisson from the company to sell those goods.

I had same problem too, however, I was/am power seller but my itmes were still took off by ebay and these other seller who selling same stuffs as mine were still out there selling.

That's because they are your competition and they are reporting you. They know the shortcuts, and they know how to walk the fine line.

Power sellers go down too, just talk to some members here. Granted, it is harder for them to be taken down, but it does happen.

because you are low down on the list as far as ebay thinks.

best to worry about keeping your own account going and not fussing over what you think other sellers are doing.

If it's vErO, then naughty you. Stop selling it.
If the items are the real deal, then file a counter-claim if you get an item removed.
Fight fire with fight. From what you have said, it is more than likely a competitor who has reported you.

Also remember not to link your listing to any previous suspended account. Like change the pictures and the text. My listing was pulled down because my picture had the same file name(it was rather long).
