Regarding Tangible Goods Policy

Hi All this is my first post so first I just want to say hello to everyone.

I have a simple question, I have looked for something similar on the forum but don't seem to be able to find anything.

I will soon be selling an item that is verod on ebay and can attract allot of attention.

I was an ebay power seller a few years back and what to get back into things.

I only plan on selling the vero items for a short term to get some much needed capital together to start a more legit business.

I don't want to sell directly on ebay if I can avoid it.

I have read somewhere that Ebay now have a tangible goods policy, meaning you can't sell a link to your website or even ebooks etc unless you ship them via CD etc.

I used to see many people saying that they are not selling the item only a link to the website where they can buy them.

A number of people got away with this but now with the tangible good policy this would be difficult, I think.

I am wondering..

If I were to sell a poster or flyer, leaflet that promotes my website and actually post the item to the buyer would this be allowed to stay on ebay ?

I was thinking of putting a picture of the leaflet that clearly shows the name of my website. so people can visit without having to buy the leaflet.

I was thinking of selling the poster or leaflet for $0.50 or maybe less.

Questions is would this get be booted from ebay and would they regularly take down the listings etc.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Regards

Pearse

PS: I was going to name my website the same as the keyword string people would be searching on ebay so it would be like "keyword string or name of website " "poster" or "leaflet"

Of Course it will,,,as soon as it is Discovered,,,Ebay's TOP Priority is Keeping their site Free of Counterfeits,,,,I Know that in your Mind you are NOT Selling the Actual Item in Question,,Only a Poster Instructing Buyers as to where to Purchase it,,,But Ebay Will NOT See it that way,,,They will see it as a Way to promote the Sale of a Counterfeit Item using Ebay,,,Plain and Simple,,,

Kind of hard to drive buyers to your item without also driving the VERO police as well

what about classified ad format?

Use it to drive traffic without selling on eBay. Or did i miss the point? you want 0.50?
