Ebay tips for me please! Account created 4/10
 

I have an eBay account that I've been selling on for about 3 months now with about 30 feedback most all from selling. I've given pp and eb all real information thus far. (wifes name ect) We recently moved about 900 miles south from our last account (not for ebay but for my job):D We have sold maybe $2k worth of sales in the last 3 months all paid through paypal. Had to give paypal everything but SS. I am almost 100% sure that we have used her SS on a pp account years ago.

I guess my major concern is what would some seasoned vets recomend me to set a sales target at to keep from having to give this to paypal. I'm looking to have maybe $500 in sales a week. Is this a ok target or do you think this could trigger the SS?

I would obv start by selling one or 2 items a week and top out at probably around 10-15. Not very high end items most would be under $50 and a few could top out at $150. These aren't the auto target VERO items like purses watches jerseys ect.

And before I get the auto buy the ebay stealth book replies I already did!:cheer:

Also my wife just got a call from ebay yesterday giving her advice on how to sell better on ebay. Has anyone else got this?

Can you tell me if you have a premier or business paypal account so all options might get considered?
$500 per week & paypal & no limitation is very difficult to predict. Accounts similar to yours have been limited for $8.00. Yes, you read that correctly. A miserable $8.00 :tears:

Buyers are brainwashed into using paypal. You might want to consider having a merchant account.

Its going to be hard to keep that account from getting a SSN request at 2k a month. You are right in assuming they will ask. Best bet is do that over more accounts and spread it out thinner

As for sending money to bros account. Once sure, over and over, no way. You will all get linked up and burned. Best advice is if there is another way, go that way. The less [or none at all frankly] that accounts touch the better

If within your immediate circle of accounts you have 6 accounts and one goes down its a minor pain. They all get linked and go down its a nightmare. Bring down your other families accounts in the mess too and it makes things extra tense.

Best to keep things thin and separate.....
