auctiva help

I want to start using auctiva with ebay and I have opened one account but didn't start using it yet. My question about auctiva is.

Do I have to open one auctiva account for each ebay account I have and then stop using that auctiva account after my ebay account gets suspended and open a new auctiva account for new ebay account.

And do I have to access auctiva with my dial up and same ip address like ebay or not.

any help is appreciated.

thanks

YES, you have to have one acutiva account per ebay account. When you sign up for an ebay account immediately got get auctiva and generate your ebay token. That eliminates the need to sign into ebay to list or monitor your auctions. Do this on the same IP#. After that you can log into auctiva safely to handle your auctions without ebay tracking you!

after I do that then I can use auctiva with my normal ip address or I have to use the same ip all the time that I have on record with ebay.

Do I have to clean all my cookies and other things on my computer before I log into auctiva.

so thru auctiva there is no way ebay can track you.

it doesn't matter what you ip is on auctiva. Only if you log into ebay. They do not swap info. Think of Auctiva as hiding you from ebay. As long as you go thru them you're safe! :)

FYI, you can't rely on Auctiva to give you up to date info on your active auctions. Sometimes their info (highest bid, etc.) can be 12 hours behind! I've seen users ask about this on their forums but so far there's no answer. See the thread about surfing ebay if you're not logged on. It appears to be a safe way to keep up to date.

thank you for your fast replies and the help.

I will try with one account and see how I go.

thanks.

FYI:
When and IF one of your ebay ids goes down.. You will have to get a NEW Auctiva acct also, the info does NOT transfer over.

another bit of advice. if you are within your auctiva page and are under an IP address that ebay should not see do not do the live ebay revisions or click on any ebay link within auctiva. it will direct you to the ebay site then your IP will be logged by ebay.

Good advice....one of the shortcomings of Auctiva...you can't edit! I miss auctionmanager.com....what happened to them?
