Default question about using friend's account

If my friend gave me his 500 feedback account.
plan A. I leave the information as his.. but use it with a new paypal account opened under my name (never had any paypal account before). Will this ebay account get red flagged?? Also, if he ever opens new ebay account and get suspened, the one he gave to me will also be affected right?

plan B. I change the ebay information to mine. And then use it with my new PP account. So basically this account is 100% mine now. However, if he opens new ebay account and get suspened. Will my account still be linked to his new suspened account and get suspended too? because it uses his existing paypal/same billing info/address/ip etc...

My understanding from experience is that. Once two accounts are linked (with paypal/billing/address/ip etc). Doesn't matter if you change one of the account's info completely, it will still be linked for life?

any input will be appreciated!

My input is

Welcome to the forum.

Dont use a friend's account ever for any reason whatsoever.
Friends & business do not mix.

Look at the mess you are going to make. Here on the forum we recommend and assist users to become stealth independently.

Please read more of the forum to get an idea of other methods.

Thank you! friend's account is established. im a high volume seller with high value items.. i need a account has high selling limits, so starting new account needs at least 6 months to have enough selling limit.. i need to get back on my feet asap.. so that will not really work for me. i will start new account as well on a different internet, etc. however, that will just be a backup to use in the future in case anything happen to my friend's account.

still hoping someone can give me some input regard to my original questions!

i'm glad to find this forum =)

I answered your questions by saying friends and business do not mix.

That might not be what you want to hear. But it's a fact of this game called eBay Stealth.

Trust me you are not unique in what has happened to you and what you think might be a good idea. I can not tell you the number of users I have given the same advice.
Having another person touch an ebay account contaminates the account.
Both of your propsals/questions/whatever are not suitable to ensure the account to stay viable.
However it was quicker to say whay I said : friends & business do not mix

"...will it still be linked for life?" You need to understand why we recommend stealth so much around here. The guide is good for that or take the time and read through a lot of posts.

That being said, you have received powerful feedback from the much-experience GreenBean - wise to listen. Regardless, all the best with your experimentation. Few of use have tried a lot of different things and I can only say that yes, you may operate well for the short period but what will you do if your account goes down? Have to plan for the future.

His account being established wont help one bit when you all of a sudden do a huge spike in sales. Its a real misconception that an old established account is bulletproof. Its not at all.

You brought down your account, so reasoning stands you can do the same to his.

You simply can not do this without understanding the stealth system. Period. Without understanding the system you will just burn his account in a short time and be right back where you started. Its in your best interest to know what the rules are

Read the guide and you will understand right away that there are steps required to stay alive. You would be safer and better having several accounts spread out with your sales.

Thats your best option 100%
