Ebay Pro Stores

Hello. I have a question. Does anyone here have a pro store or understand how it works?

I've read about it on Ebay, over and over AND googled it hoping Ehow could explain it in simple terms. The user agreement is so small my eyes spasm so it is difficult to read for any length of time on the Ebay site. I keep reading that the Ebay Pro Stores is free to try for the first month. Never owned an Ebay store, just sold some items during free insertion fees though years ago I would pay all the fees but that was when EBAY was good and actually had traffic. Amazon owns the search engines now it seems. Used to be I could even find my own Ebay items in the search engines

I have about 100 items to possibly 200 to list but I don't understand the fees.

Pro Stores vs Ebay stores, they say they only charge a half a percent transaction fee but that can't be right. So they forfeit the final value fees and insertion feesif you spend just $15 more per month on a Pro Store?

There are additional features (yes i understand the features but don't care cause i would not be interested) Regular Ebay stores do the job for what I need but it appears it may be cheaper to do the Pro Store if the .05% fee is true. Never heard of a "transaction fee'. Hope this makes sense

My understanding of it is that the Pro Store is NOT actually a part of eBay and the listings don't show up on eBay. It is like setting up your own website.

This, for ME, has no value. I am certainly not going to give them an opportunity to shut down my eBay sales AND my website in one hissy-fit.
