I dont know if this would be the right place to ask this but how do you get a phone number thru your gmail address ?

Just log in to goggle voice wtih the same info as your gmail account and you will see your goggle voice phone number. You can set it to ring to any phone you want and set up voice mail & have text sent to any number as will.

thanks a lot i had same concern and didn't know how to do it, but i think google voice number doesn't support all countries country codes as i experienced this in the past, but i see there a lot of settings so i think i need to tweak those settings as well to get it to work for my phone.
