register for ebay store but need CC
 

hi guys, i just wanted to register for an ebay basic store and it looks to have a new rule whereby a credit card must be attached in ebay.

paypal is no longer allowed.

so my question is, as this is a stealth account, can i just get a VCC from members in the forum and attach it in ebay? will they like charge this VCC every month for my store fee?

Yes I believe you can just add a VCC for the store but since most of them expire in a short time frame you would have to constantly update the card. I think you are better off trying to use a card that has a expiration date of a few years so it draws less attention than someone changing the card every few months.

i spoke to ebay customer service, according to them, we just need to add a CC for the store, then after that we can remove it immediately and the monthly fees will be deducted from our paypal.

but what about the first month's payment? hm.

Your first month's payment will be visible in the place where the fees for selling stuff are. So there isn't any initial payment you have to make, simply they want it for verification purposes.
When you remove the card , they will send you an email to add one back on again, I have been there with them , thats what happened.

You're having this problem with ebay.com? or other country? I'm facing this at ebay AUS
