ebay buyer advice would help!

Hi Everyone,
Im fairly new to the forum and this is my 1st post, I have an issue with something that I havent had happen to me before and Ive been selling on eb*ay since 1997.
I sold some DVD's on Feb. 13th and the buyer emailed me and said she would pay for them on Friday 18th when her husband got paid and I told her that it would be ok to do that, well Friday came and went and Saturday morning I sent her a payment reminder and she replied back to me this message "I recieved a email from eb*ay telling me not to purchase this item." that was it, nothing else in her message.
I replied back to her that Id never heard of eb*ay doing something like that before and if she could forward me the message I would like to see it.
I havent heard anything back from her since Saturday morning when I sent my reply and I'm not really sure what to do next, contact eb*ay about it or try to get the buyer to mutually agree to not follow through with the transaction so I can get my fees back and relist it.
Never heard of them suggesting to a customer not to buy anything from a seller! Any advice??
Thanks!

sounds like she decided she didn't want the item after she had won the auction or w/e. I highly doubt ebay sent her a email telling her not to purchase the item.

Yes, eB@y does send this message when an item is taken down due to complaints that it may be fraudulent. I have been on both sides of this message.

If you have had any DVD's taken down for VeRO lately, then all of your buyers get this message... something along the lines of "This is probably fraudulent, if you file an unpaid item dispute you'll get your money back no questions asked."

If this hasn't happened to you lately and none of your items have been removed, then I would search and see if she was the highest bidder for any other DVD auctions recently. It's possible that this happened to another seller she was buying from and she has the two of you confused.

Honestly, I don't even bother filing UPID's anymore. It's just not worth the hassle of dealing with someone who obviously doesn't want to pay for the item.

I did get that message about buying from someone before so I am not surprised. I don't know why but they put it it was a high risk seller or something like that. Move on, try to sell again.
