When U upgrade an old buyer account (registered 05') into a seller account does the account have new seller limits?

Yes - it is considered a new seller account. That's a gem you have there - go slow with it.

so the fact that its a 05 buyer acct doesnt even matter?

Yup - the year of the buyer account won't matter - it's when it STARTS selling - that's what counts.

what makes it a gem? wince it still has new seller limits and all new stuff on it why is it so special? just b/c its old it is worth something? what are the pros to having the 05 account with 2011 selling limits on it? please explain.

You need to search the forums on pre 07 accounts. Once you establish a "safe" selling profile, you will be able to implement a merchant payout feature to avoid having to have payments go through Pa yp al. You still need a pa yp al to work but you can slowly get payments away from that nuisance of a system.
