Can I have 2 legit ebay accounts?
 

I've had 2 legit ebay accounts for the past year, one for buying and one for selling both linked to one paypal account, my selling accoun has 1000 positive feedbacks and my buying has 100 positive feedbacks.

I recently got limited to how many auctions I can list per month due to low DSRs. I am wondering if I can start selling with my other ebay account and not have any limitations? or will doing this raise a red flag with ebay and get me suspended?

Hello cb3, typical ebay to limit an account.

Since these accounts are already linked, you could start to sell on that 2nd account.

But (and this is an important but) you need to be aware of a couple of facts.

You could still get limited/restricted on that account.

If either account gets into deep troubles & gets suspended you will lose both accounts.

This is not all doom & gloom. Some users operate like this.(Me included) We rotate between accounts. I make sure things go smoothly & find it ideal.

If you so wished, you could make a stealth account not linked at all to this pair & slowly build on it.
It dpends on what you feel comfortable doing.:juggle:

As of today, ebay is tolerating 2 ebay accounts to one paypal. Keep in the back of your mind that could change. :yar:

I recently had a discussion with an eB@y rep over this topic. Before I knew anything about st3@lth I had a 2nd account which I used mostly for buying, but I wanted to have it at a decent FB so I could use it as a backup incase my main selling account got in trouble (I knew nothing about being linked at the time).

That was 3 years ago. Literally. It was 2008.

The main selling account recently got into some trouble and the eB@y rep I was talking to quipped that "one of [your] many violations is having multiple selling accounts." I told him the last sale I did on the 2nd account was THREE YEARS AGO.... needless to say, the conversation did not go well and I am now here.

I was sure that 2 accounts attached to one PayPal cannot sell the same type of items or you will be suspended? So, cb3, watch what you sell on the second account...
