does eBay call after you fax the merchant statement?
 

I'm going to fax my merchant statement ( edit the name and address, of course) to eBay for one of my accounts. Anyone who has already done this, does eBay call to verify after you fax in the statement? I just need to know if I need to edit the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ phone number, too. :D

I thought not. However read a post by jollybee and what he had to do to have
ebay/paypal reinstated.{dated 2/22}. He talked of faxing 75 pages of information.
I would let you make your own decision.

Last time I checked yes they do.

I should do it with a brand new account then. If they deny it, nothing is lost.

Hello. In my recent experience, YES, they do call--paypal and ebay both called me--not just one or the other. I must be very lucky!!LOL

I faxed in my merchant info to ebay and they called me the next day to let me know the account had been approved. So yes, they do call. I don't have a paypal account linked to that account though so I can't say anything about paypal.

When they rang you, what did they say to you sirtacogrande?

and what happens if your not there to answer that call? Does your account get suspended?

What if you told them to please call you after say 8 or 9pm because you work all day? :D

May I know if ebay will call merchant account to verify your name and address?

I saw people mentioned that ebay will call seller. But how about verify with merchant service provider.
