Default POLL: What do you sell?

What's does everyone sell? I am looking for good ideas on what can sell and is profitable? Also for what you sell, where do you get it so it's cheap enough to make a profit in eBay when things on eBay usually sell below wholesale?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

an amusing question...ebay is so competitive that nobody in their right mind would divulge such information. i guess worth a prayer though.

I used to sale virtual items. Game currency for Online games like world of warcraft, everquest 2, eve online etc. But eBay has put a stop to these types' auctions now. No one can sell now. It's okay though, eBay was a pain in the ass anyways.

i sell new and used car parts. pretty good profit margin once you have a good supplier.

of course i wound up here because i started trying to sell counterfeit items for extra income. big BIG mistake.. wish i had never got involved with that stuff

if anyone knows of a good site to sell parts on please let me know.

Thumbs up Spile1 is on target

Spile1 is on target when he says he can make money on car parts. I have bought several 60s vintage cars t-birds cougars and others that parts arnt as easy to get from the big catalog companies like mustang camaro corvette ect.

One example is a rat infested 64 tbird i bought on ebay for $300.

proffit breaks down like this.
wheels 100, stereing wheel 125, dash 200 trans 125, engine 225, seats 300. radio 130, rear differential 120, misc chrom pcs 200, winshield wipers 40 ea. wiper mpter 75, power window parts 300, I know im forgetting alot like cig lighters ash trays ... yep the more bizar the better the surprise! I share this because compitition is not something to worry about. oh keep the title because in the end the scrap yard can give you up to 75$

not bad $1400 -$4000 proffit in a weekend worth of DIRTY work.

wow that sounds great dakrei!

i have never even tried parting out a whole car. i would just cruise the local dealerships and picked the brand new still in the box stuff. problem with that is i wind up with a bunch of random parts. i have boxes of nuts, bolts, brackets, seals, all kinds of stuff that is hard to sell. i tried selling it as lots but it does not pay much. how much can you get for a box of unknown but brand new bolts?
i got a call from one of my dealership guys two days ago. they have about $35,000 of parts they need to get rid of. they want it gone by the end of next week. by the time i sort through it will probably drop to about $29,000. i don't take large items like fender or hoods. here i am, my ebay accounts not fully up and running yet so how am i going to pay for it? guess i'll have to get a cash advance from a credit card or something.

I don't sell this on ebay, but for you guys who like to part out cars, or roll them over the scales at the scrap yard for extra cash, if you had a truck and a flat bed trailer you could get cars free or for next to nothing, just by hauling them out of people's yards. I have a Previa van that I bought new in 1990. I have a fondness for it as it was the first new vehicle I ever bought, plus it had two sun roofs, one is auto sliding. There's cool fold up seats in the back and I could actually get full sheets of plywood in the back and still close the back door. I know you guys can appreciate that. Even after blowing the engine at 475,000 miles I refuse to part with it, swearing I will have a new engine put in some day. Twice now two guys have knocked on my door with a pick up truck pulling a flat bed parked in front of my house asking if I wanted to part with it. First time I politely told them no, second time I told them no, and one of the guys said, "so what, you're just going to let it set there and rot? Women!" I told them I was actually thinking about using it to grow plants in, and at this moment it happened to be where I kept the body of my ex-husband and I was thinking about using him for fertilizer. I asked if they thought he would make good fertilizer for morning glories. I have seen those guys now and again driving around town, pulling other old cars on their trailer, but they never came back to my door. So, there is obviously some money to be made knocking on people's doors and asking if they want you to haul their old heaps away. But, fellows be nice to the ladies when you knock on their doors, are you might end up being fertilizer.
