Could This Ebay Buyer be a Scammer?

I just sold my item on eBay for 350.00 US dollars and the winning bidder was from Russian. I went to the buyer's eBay My World page and it said that her location was Russian. So I thought she would have an Russian shipping address. I sold to many other foreign buye before, and they didn't have me ship to an address in the US. She was a fast payer, and right after she made payment she sent me a follow up message stating that she wanted to me to ship to her US address. She has 16 feedback and she maybe a good buyer, but I heard sad stories about how foreign buyers made sellers ship to a unconfirmed address different from their original address so they can easily win item not receive disputes. I think she maybe an okay buyer, but some of my gut is telling me to be a little leery. What do you all think?

I'm not sure about this person, but I have made several sales to people from another country and wanted it shipped to a us address.

The reason I was given was that the address is a relative living in the usa, and they will ship it to them with other items they bought from here...It save them money on shipping that way.

The other one I have had was when I was selling used medical equipment, the foreign buyer has an agent or freight forwarder in the usa and they also collect and ship all of the equipment to the buyer in one container.

IMO, the person is ok and is doing one of the above...hope that helps!!

whilst one gets weird requests all the time, and they are usually ok, DONT. whilst I will send £10 stuff to non-paypal address, I will not send $350. You need to refund them, and tell them to pay amount again, adding the other address as gift address, so it is documented. If they say it doesnt show up otherwise you will lose a claim....and remember to get tracking always

I would personally only send something of that value to a paypal registered address. It's advisable that you state that in your listings. Not saying that it will happen but typically, they lull you in to a false sense of security by paying promptly, communicating quickly.. Then, when you do send the item you end up being hit with an item not received dispute and you end up loosing your money because you haven't sent it to the correct address.. They know exactly what they're doing!
