how quickly to upgrade to a business account
 

I have an item I sell a a fair amount of (40 per month)
Although the items are branded, there is no vero watch on them so are being freely sold on ebay.
I am running 5 stealth accounts. After listing 2 of these items on the first private account, I upgraded it to a business account to sell another two. This account had been open for a few weeks.
I only intend to sell about 4 of these items on each account, so will be opening another 5 accounts shortly.
Should I follow suit the same as this account and just upgrade to business when I have listed 2 of the same item? or should I wait for the 90 day time scale? or any other ideas?

You should be registered as a business seller on eBay anyway!

Register as a business seller straight away. You'll take more hits with a business account (Or at least that's the theory)

In The U.S.A. It makes More of a difference on Paypal as Opposed to Ebay, Paypal will give you Higher Withdrawal limits because if you have an EIN Number on file with them they are covered with the IRS's New Tax Reporting Law. Also there is a Better chance that they will not ask you for a SSN

well with business there are various more tools you can use, and you get better support, best you look it up on paypal site. You can use a business name and bank account and they can request upon limitations some various docs or invoices in business name from a list. In UK tax reporting is your own affair, although best to report upon receipt of substantial sums. Warning business name does not mean that it is impossible for them to ask for you to provide personal ID.

business sellers on ebay have to adher to stricker distance selling rules.

thats for that info oompaloompa , is it less chance of them asking for photo id as that seems to be my biggest problem with paypal i have lost 2 accounts so far due to them wanting photo id 1 of them im trying to rescue now
