help. Ebay auctions

I need some help on making my auctions sell for more. I"m not getting what I'm suppose too with my auctions.. It seems like the more feedback you get the less money your auction sell for.. I usually do 3 day auctions that ends around 11.00 p/m/ EST.. What am I not doing right. I have a nice template and pictures but it still doesn't sell for the right amount of money like it's suppose too.

Why not sell "buy it now" auctions and get what you want and an instant payment that way?

CPUGEEK 04-19-2007 11:33 PM

I think i know why now.. Since I put the length of time it takes for item to reach customer , I've been getting less bids....I put in terms that it takes 2 days to process order and 5 days to get the item...

I think I'm going to leave that out next time

because I thought sellers would rather bid then buy it now

I like buy it now auctions more then bidding. Usually if I want something, I want it now. Maybe it's just me.

What brands are you selling? That might have to do with it. Different brands need different selling methods.

Some people do and some don't. I know of people reading each inch of a website or auction just looking for information. If they don't get the information they need, they won't buy. Trust me on this. You have to tell the buyer what you're promising in the auction or they won't buy. EBay has such a huge audience you shouldn't be able to not sell an item if everything is there.

In many categories sales are down right now. Economic woes at the pump I suspect. The beginning of May seems to be a general downtime though. Again, depending on what you're selling.
