whats betterr over all, meaning more profitable, less risky

All depends. Really I would recommend checking out terapeak for pricing info. But the fess are less on auctions, and more on BIN,so keep that in mind.

Buy it now is what I usually use, ecsepially with these new limits, all you need is 1 listing with 10 available per month per account and you can usually get more than you would with an auction, as long as it's in demand.

The problems with Buy It Now... If you are the lowest priced you risk being flagged by crooked sellers who can't play fair. Some sellers report every listing that undercuts their price as count er feit. Sellers that can't play fair and have to resort to dirty tactics need to be hanged.

But for generic cheap non-vero items, Buy it Now is much better than auction.
