Using McDonalds Wi-Fi and The IP Numbers?
 

Hello all. Back in 2010 one of my Ebay accounts was closed and suspended. I was at a certain MCDonalds and just posting items from a memory card that had pictures on there. I was having Cabin Fever at Home. I need to go out and sit and post. I logged on gmail account and its shows the IP Location for example

68.124.137.220

However I went to another another McDonalds down the road it says

68.124.137.222

I know better not to use that McDonalds IP Where I was using and got banned from it however the other McDonalds that I never used is only one number off instead a "0" it is a "2"...

Is it safe to use the McDonalds Wi-Fi with the IP Address that has only one number off?

I do know that each McDonalds has its own IP.

If the IP is different by any number then you are good.

You should stay away from all public hotspots. Think about it, if you can create ebay accounts from that hotspot, others can too.
