multiple accounts at workplace?
 

hello
at our workplace we are all on the same ip address that does not change. there are probably 5 employees who have ebay and paypal accounts. why does ebay and paypal not say anything about so many accounts working on the same ip address under different names? thanks

Probably because no one has caused Problems for them yet - example: selling count erf eit, payment problems, listing weird things, etc?

Personally I would not like to be involved in that kind of potential "circle of doom" (!) but hey, there are many examples of places of work that have no problems with multiple accounts.

The first thing to remember is that an IP will not get people suspended. Other details are taken into consideration as well.

Using the same IP as an account YOU have had suspended is a way for e Bay to identify you as a previously suspended member. If you are using an IP address that SOMEONE ELSE has been suspended using then this may mean that e Bay check accounts using that IP more often as they are looking to identify suspended members who may register again.

At your work you all have different personal details on your accounts as well. e Bay does understand that people use such networks and this is the reason they don't go suspending people who use the same IP address.
