How does Auctiva make money?

I've been searching very hard for a paid option on their website but can't find one. Any ideas on how they make money? Did they buy some money trees off eBay or something?

When I turned off 'check out' and automatic emails in auctive I had a pop up box that stated Auctiva may stop being a free service if not allowed to promote their stores, other customers and services in the checkout and email functions.

yes, i got that notice too. also they have that insurance feature. they provide their insurance for shipped goods. i guess they make money with that.
