Just starting out, a lot of questions
 

I apologize if these questions have been asked a thousand times already, and if you can direct me to the answers elsewhere that would be great as well.
My first question is, if I am looking to start up new ebay and paypal accounts, what is the best way to get around the SSN problem in the USA? I know the book talks about getting an EIN and such, but I already have an EIN because I already had a biz running. If I use my EIN but open a newly name biz with it, can paypal/ebay still track me through the EIN? You can only get one of them per name, so I wasn't sure how it all works and if it could be linked. If there is another way as well, please let me know. I'm still trying to figure all of this stuff out and want to know for sure exactly what I'm doing before opening ANY other accounts so I don't mess it up.

From what I've read... and the details themselves are still sketchy... If you are Sole Proprietor then you will be required to provide your EIN and SS.... If you are LCC then only EIN only is required....

since when do you need a SSN to open an ebay or paypal account? Has something new happened that Im unaware of? :suspicious:

Well it talks about SSNs in the book, and as far as I know you need something to verify your Paypal...in fact Paypal likes to use your SSN to verify your account to make sure you are who you say you are and check your credit rating, etc. this is all talked about in the ebook.
