Ebay Live Chat gone?
 

I just tried to contact the Live chat at Ebay and the link I used was:

The page that opened gave me the following messege:

We’re sorry, but chat isn’t available right now. Representatives are available from 5AM to 10PM Pacific Time, 7 days a week.
Until that time we invite you to visit our help pages
Thank You.

The time is 11PM EST or 8PM PST. Nowhere close to the cutoff time.
Any idea if they even have the Live chat working anymore? All I could find goign through the various pages on ebay was a phone call assistance which Im not too keen on using.

Do they have a new link? Am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.

I find it harder and harder to use ebay chat. I know if u go to ebay motors on the contact us u can get a live chat but this seems to be the only way i have found to do it. But it is just as easy to call in assuming u have a good phone number to do this with. And as always have all ur info ready just incase they want to grill u.

Tried Ebay motors.
No success.
I get forwarded to the same Contact us page on ebay that only offers phone support.
So does this mean that Live chat is gone? is there any way to even get in touch with a Live chat assistance at this point? or has ebay cancelled it altogether?

This is unfortunate. I guess i'll have to try it again tomorrow and see if it is still down.

It might be possible that they're only performing maintenance, who knows.

Certainly hope so.
Id hate to have to call them up for every tiny little issue that could be handled over chat.
I prefer to avoid the risk associated with calling them.
This bites.

thats what i ve been wondering..i used to go through "sell" then help under sell. all they have now is their phone number..
