Linking a new Paypal account to an old Ebay

Hello, let's say I have the right to access to a friend/family's ebay account but I do not want to use his paypal account. Could I link a new paypal account to this ebay account which has already been linked to his paypal account? Thanks.

simple answer? - NO you'll get shutdown - The info needs to match accross both the ebay and paypal account.

And if any of the accounts have ever been linked to any suspended accounts then this will also raise a red flag and you'll get not only your account suspended but your friends/familys as well!
