Can a guy activate a female account?

I recently purchased a account from JBluntz. The account's name was Loida Officer. The name is definitely not a guys name. Anyways I posted a item and tried to verify my identity as usual but when i talked to the operator he sounded like he knew something was wrong. Instead of asking the 2 verifying questions he asked me to send documents right away.

I obviously can't prove these documents. What should I do? I spent good money on this account.

First mistake, talking to them on the phone using your manly voice. If you can not send the documents you might as well kiss the account goodbye.

To answer your question YES a male can create a female account. Look up spoofing, and you'll find something that will translate your voice to a females, you might have to spend a little money, but not much. Good Luck

You should changed the first name and leave the last name after *carefully* make your account seem active, just for future reference.

If you would of read the tips in my thread for using the account you wouldn't have needed to call. I've got female accounts a year old, never once had to call. Selling software for your first item will get you hit just about every time. I sent you 1 replacement check your pm.

If you do not have someone available to speak for you then you need to give the maker of your account the name you want them to use.

It keeps the confusion from happening and makes these sellers life a lot easier.

I have my hubby who took the only call I have ever had on opening an account and he did very well.

Then again I sell thrift store stuff to start any account off.

So retarded when users blame reputable sellers on here for THEIR own mistakes. Don't whine like a baby and blame your ignorance and lack of experience on other people when it's your fault.

Keep practicing, and yes, of course this is an investment in money and time. That is common sense.

And you can always ask your seller or the forum BEFORE you just go assuming that you know what you're doing is right.

Plenty of forums out there covering such related subjects. Don't worry. One search will return more results than you could read in your entire lifetime. Give it a shot, I dare you. Haha

Getting mad over the internet? Come on now, it's not that serious, i'm talking to all of you.

Red X 05-29-2011 12:41 PM

Also, this guy never blamed Jbluntz, he just stated who he purchased the account from, and told us what happened, he didn't say it was Jbluntz fault.

firstly there are voice changers out there.

secondly is that really the name, if so why did you post it?

thirdly if it is the name or similar, it is not even a female name, it is not like susan or catherina, its like a made up name, it could easily be a non English male name, many many male names have a at the end..so ID teamed with male as gender plus say a male middle name would not rasie eyebrows...

His context surely begs to differ. And I've seen it happening with more and more n00bs lately who just don't understand ste.alth yet.

What does naming the seller you purchased from have to do with anything in his question? Then they state how it's definitely not a male's name on the account and that they "spent good money", discretely implying something else.

If you seriously needed a male name, then you take that issue up with the person you purchased from before you complete the transaction and not complain afterwards on an open forum about it. And as far as "spending good money" goes, well, that sounds like a typical whiny buyer on eB ay. You knew the price before your paid for it. There was no secret and no one forced you to pay for it.

Anyways, learn your lesson and don't be a dick.

Red X 05-29-2011 02:52 PM

lol, I believe we all got our point of views across, and Jbluntz solved the problem I see, so how about we all have a Happy Memorial Day!!!! =}
