I think what we need is...
To go to an eBay customer support phone centre, and kidnap one of the customer support agents... interrigate them and get the whole jig set up....
I think to be honest, we need to work for ebay to be able to do what ever we wanted!!

MY NEXT PLAN lol

I do believe that the IP location does NOW have something to do with, however it is not the main factor. Only accounts where the address didn't match the IP location did they request verification. The others they didn't. Besides the issue of what category your listing is in. It clearly states on ebay that some "categories" are higher risk, not the actual item or the price.

Also I was told that verification is going to be "standard procedure". I was told this directly by an ebay agent after a 15-20 minute chit chat about things nothing to do with ebay. He felt comfortable enough to tell me that and its due to "high number of fraud" that they are trying to reduce. I would in no way blame doughboy for this as it is becoming standard.

#1 Call them. Answer questions and get account going again.

#2 Start over and hope/pray that it wont happen again. If it is standard then go back to #1

I do believe that pretty soon 100% of accounts will go through this. You can adapt, learn and survive or quit... In the long haul I actually believe this will reduce my competition and increase sales.

The word in bold is your problem.

The option to schedule an item something that's "locked" behind one of the 10-point font the Add/Remove Options links in the auction listing.

You need to click this tiny, 10-point font link and then check a box to make this option visible.

This is not something a new user would ever do.

I have had this happen to me a few times on new accounts when I scheduled things. Next time, use the Simple Auction template instead and you'll find this will not happen. Use the simple auction template for the first 5 listings. Then a week later use Scheduling for the next 5... etc... etc....

Pretend you're new. No shortcuts. It works.

Edit: Did you schedule all the auctions for the same minute?
