Are playstation 3 games VERO?
 

Sorry if this question is posted some where but i couldn't find it.

Anyone know if Playstation 3 games are VERO or are high risk?,i have like 15 games and i planning to sell them just to earn some feedback and make ebay thik i am a new seller,.

You think is a good idea sell them with out be pulled?,Thanks guys.:hail:

No PS games aren't that risky, I've sold them many times on new accounts, Nintendo DS are the ones to watch out for, I actually just got some in today the new Super Mario Brothers! lol.

Used PS3 games are not 'VERO' in the sense of high risk items.

Go for it. I have sold many many USED DVD's, games, CD's for feedback.

PS3 games have copy protection built in to them that the counterfeiters have not figured out how to defeat. To play a counterfeit game on a PS3 you have to "crack" the console.

Therefore, eBay is not too worried about ⊗⊗⊗⊗ in this case, as it becomes very apparent very quickly if someone is selling foo-foo's.

Most risky items only get caught becuase people are selling them dirt cheap and are using stock photos from websites.

I sold dyson vacuums a couple years ago. Got the VERO warnings and removals all the time while using stock text and photos. As soon as I just listed them as used and my own photos it was all good.

The buyers saw they were new and bid accordingly. but the VERO hunters usually only see new stuff.

Same for games I bet. If you sold tons of new games dirt cheap with stock photos all day long you might get a 2nd look but personal collections mean nothing to them.

I agree, and it is not the photos so much as the pricing. If you are a video game maker (is Konami still around?) like Konami, you know what you sell these for at the wholesale level. Let's say a game lists for $49.99, snd the wholesale price is $30. Walmart sells it for $32.99, Amazon has it for $38.99, Nordstroms charges $47.99, and Mr. eBay seller has it for $19.95, selling copies left and right. WHERE is he getting his merchandise from? Doesn't take a genius to figure out he's selling counterfeits.
