Buyer recieved a refund, and has to ship the item back.

Here's my question. I have a stealth account right now and a buyer would like to return an item. I have already refunded the payment but i need to know how can i give the buyer my address to return the item without be suspended. The address the buyer has to return the item to is suspended. They asked for my address in an eBay message. Is it okay to reply with it in the eBay message?

If not, how could i give the buyer the information?

Tell him to keep it with your compliments. Alternatively ask him to return it to you 'parents' address (any address you like):D

Ok, so if i tell him to ship the item to a friends address (my suspended address) and i tell him through eBay is that suspicious?

You have his email address from PP. Just tell him directly.

If it was me, I would have already been in telephone contact with my customer. At the slightest hint of any problem, I will drop everything and make that call.

2nd choice: You could send a letter to them to their PayPal email address and see if they respond?

Or have the item sent to a neutral address (Friend, neighbor...etc)

Last resort, let them keep the item.

I haven't had many returns over the years, but when I do, I give my address (which is suspended) in an ebay message, and give them an excuse out of my rolodex of excuses, and have them send it there. Never had an issue.

Thank you i was looking for an answer like this because it is impossiable for me to continue to let the buyer keep the item.

Luckily this was a small transaction.

yea thats part of business itself sometimes u have to take a little loss... if im losing 10 dollars per day yet im grossin 100 i'll take that any day..
depending on the attitude of the customer through the messages is that you might just tell him to keep it.. after all losing 40 dollars is better then them reporting you to ebay and with a chance of losing that account

Do what the poster said above. just email them via their regular email account. I do most of my emailing that way. ebay doesnt need to know all of my business dealings. Most of my business is via direct emails anyway after the sale.
