Item as described -- at risk

Inside my seller dashboard, I currently have a yellow alert saying my account for "above standard" seller is at risk because I have low dsr's for item as described greater than 1.00%. Does anyone know if this will immediately downgrade the status of my account? Also, I have always seemed to have trouble keeping this number below the required 1.00%... Any Pointers?

take a screenshot of you dsr's and post it. If you do get a warning for low dsr's you only get one or two of those a year before you are temporarily restricted from selling and it continues it may affect your selling for good.

Here's a freebie: sell low end stuff with free shipping for fast dsr + feedback - do it right away to bolster your ratings. Your account is at risk.

How many low DSRs do you have for that category? To lose the "above standard" you'll need to have 3 low DSRs (doublecheck with the seller dashboard) AND over 1% in the Item as Described.

If you have fewer than 3, you're still fine. Just don't get the 3rd one.

The exact number is calculated by how many you have. 3 (1's and 2's)isnt the number for everyone. just keep it down to 1 if you can.

Low dsrs are your own fault. There are many sellers with thousands of DSR's and still get no low (1's and 2's)

YOu just have to straighten up. its very simple.

The bottom line here is that a certain number of your customers feel that the item is misdescribed. This can happen for any number of reasons.

If selling a used item, they might feel that you overstated the condition.

If new, the item could have arrived damaged.

Clothing sizes can run smaller or larger, the item could be a counterfeit, the listing could have led them to believe that something was included, when in fact it was not, etc.

Determine why this is happening, then take steps to fix the problem.

Enlighten us on how you come up with this. I've included a screen shot of the seller dashboard with eB's instructions. Pay close attention to the words "all sellers."

Yep, in addition to my main money makers, I sell tons of cheap stuff from coupons to any $1 item I can find, for break even just to get a high turnover of stuff to boost my feedback DSRs. The high volume of good DSRs helps if someone dings with you with bad ratings.

I also send a message after they purchase the item with tracking number. Then I include a note with the package to contact me if there are problems, but please give good feedback with 5 stars if everything worked out well. It's silly, but those are the hoops we need to jump through to play on eBay.

You actually need to read it closer because what I said is very clear in that statement. I have 3 seller accounts and my (acceptable) numbers are different on 2 of them. sorry you dont feel this way.

Either way if you have 1's and 2's you are doing poorly.
