New Postage Stamp $4.95 for Priority Envelopes - BEWARE
 

Ok I knew the rules, stamped mail over 13 ounces must be delivered from a US Post Office.
The new 4.95 postage stamp looks just like a normal postage stamp

You all already know where I am going with this :D

Our local grocery center has a mail center on this side of town, it is considered our US POST office which is why we have none here.'

They could do everything except send items overseas (alaska, hawaii is fine) because they don't deal with customs. These are technically employees of the grocery store

So I go there as usual and give them a package but they don't weigh it. She shows me the new 4.95 postage stamps, offers to sell me some of them, then affixes it. Ok fine, that's great. But it comes back with a sticker saying over 13 ounces stamped mail must be mailed at the Post Offfice due to heightened security measures. So now I will go mail it at a real post office!

I knew that rule but it never occured to me at that time....so just a heads up
