Top Rated Power Seller but no Badge?
 
Hi, I became a Top Rated Power Seller on the 20th on June, 2011. However, I noticed that none of my listings has the Top Rated badge and neither does my profile.

I've contacted Ebay through the online chat system twice in the past week regarding this. Every time they tell me that they have forwarded the complaint to their website technical department and it should be fixed in 2-4 days. And yet here I am with no fix.

My account was created on ebay.ca but 95% of the time I use ebay.com so could this be the reason why this glitch occurred?

Secondly, what is the 20% discount on and when will I start getting it?

You will get your 20% of FVF on your next invoice. I don't see why CA and COM should cause a glitch but I don't know

Are you trying to see the badge on the .com or .ca? We, the top rated sellers of the US, are held to stricter requirements than the global TRS. So while you're a TRS on .ca, you might not have met the requirements for .com.

Hi, I don't see the badge on either websites, that's why I had contacted Ebay and they told me it could be a website issue.

Top rated sellers get their badge but powersellers do not anymore. Keep Contacting them by live chat. Only 1 out of 10 live chat know what their doing and you have to get the right person. I had a guy help me within 10 minuets of a complaint that 4 other live chat people said they could do nothing and send a BS email. Just have to get the right person sometimes.

Yeah I think that is the key because it's been more than a week and this issue still has not been resolved for me.

A question though, if I am selling risky items, is it a bad idea to contact Ebay again to fix this Top Rated Power Seller badge for me? I mean in my Seller Dashboard it shows me that I am a Top Rater Power Seller and it even shows that I will be receiving the 20% discount on the next invoice.

So what do you guys suggest should I leave this glitch as it is or should I get the badge which would then mean that I'd be noticed more.

OMG if there is ever a question, my recommendation is to fly low and slow my friend. I had a great account that had no holds or anything, I called in to get my $5K limit raised, and they saw something linking to an old account. If you're getting away with something, my recommendation is to be glad for that and don't push it. A lot of things are overlooked by the automated flagging system that are picked out by a human when they look over the account for some other (often unrelated) reason.
