Default Forced to fill in Buy it Now

For the last 24 hours, I'm unable to list an auction without BUY IT NOW. If I leave the BUY IT NOW field blank, it won't let me continue. It only lets me continue if I put in a BUY IT NOW price. This forces me to pay extra listing fees.

Is this a new tactic to get rid of auctions?

Hmmm... If I use Explorer it's fine. If I use Firefox or Chrome, it forces me to fill out the BUY IT NOW field before I can continue. It's driving me nuts. I'm accustomed to Firefox. Anyone knows what's going on?

perhaps try to delete cookies? I know it resets the ebay forms that I am trying to fill out.

Are you selecting the buy it now tab? next to the auction tab?

I've tried deleting both cookies and flash cookies and doesn't solve the problem. Seems to be a glitch with E bay because sometimes it goes through fine. I didn't select the Buy It Now tab. It's like they were trying to force me to set a Buy It Now price on my auctions to collect some extra listing fees.

Makes me do it too but it seems to be fine if u just put the value of 0 in. It still shows up as just and auction. Must be a bug im sure they will fix it soon.

I had this problem and just contacted the chat system. They worked it out for me and I was up and running within min,

They had me start the auction fresh though. Instead of a relist. If you completely start the auctions fresh on glitches like this it usually fixes them. According to the person I spoke with. It worked perfect for me.

I also had another issue with the shipping part where it would give me an error. Just did the same thing and it fixed it. give that a try.

Yeah, Pretty easy fix when you get into a bind I have learned. Works every time for me. Must just be a glitch and the only way to fix is to get away from the original listing. Anyway, Glad it worked for you.
