| | | User Name | 07-14-2011 11:20 AM | Would you trust this SELLER? I was looking at his external memory for sale but then looked at the feedback, its all for items under $2 eBay My World - lucky.star.7
Thanks |
Only thing I will say about buying external memory (e.g. USB sticks) from oversea sellers is that you have to be careful it's not a fictitious type. That is (from what I have read) - these USB sticks says things like 64 Gb or 128 gB and it's really just 8 or so - rehashed. |
| tenggo | 07-14-2011 12:06 PM | they are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ for sure |
| stickmade | 07-14-2011 01:50 PM | 500 positive transations in one month and not one negative feedback. Definatly real in my eyes at least one of these buyers would have left negative feedback had they discovered them being fo fo. Their authentic. |
| User Name | 07-14-2011 02:19 PM | Thanks for the help, it was the 1TB hard drives I was looking at. What I can't understand is I looked at the hard drives and there were over 1000 sold but not one + or - feedback regarding them, that's what was making me a bit weary, that and the low price |
| jbluntz | 07-14-2011 02:34 PM | He just started selling them, if you look at the dates for the last 100 sold was within the last 2 days and it only says 291 sold, which was probably within the last few days so nobody had time to leave feedback yet. |
And if he is shipping from far east, will take awhile. |
| User Name | 07-14-2011 02:53 PM | Thanks, im pretty new to ebay i got the items sold mixed up with his Toms he has for sale they have sold over 1000 pair. |
| jbluntz | 07-14-2011 02:57 PM | He's shipping from Hong Kong and those things are selling fast, it went from 291 to 303 sold in just the last few minutes, most of them probably haven't even been packaged yet let alone left HK. |
| BiN4RY | 07-14-2011 03:00 PM | Typical scammer, look at his feedbacks. they were collected by selling cheap goods, and a few of his feedbacks in those cards are obviously left by alias accounts. |
| GreenBean | 07-14-2011 06:22 PM | Dont scare me by making a title trust this USER.
Thought it was about someone here.
Title amended. Now wiping up spilled coffee :boink: |
| nobody999 | 07-14-2011 07:38 PM | what the? his completed auction on the hard drive shows 500 sold at $20 a pop....that's $10k, i highly doubt people would be getting that hard drive! |
| BiN4RY | 07-14-2011 11:04 PM | More than 75% of the money will be lost |
| mercurial333 | 07-14-2011 11:06 PM | He is NARU.. |
| BiN4RY | 07-15-2011 12:47 AM | dude got suspended |
| GreenBean | 07-15-2011 12:56 AM | FFS, he might turn up HERE  |
| jbluntz | 07-15-2011 01:10 AM | He probably did it on purpose, looked like he knew what he was doing, as long as he ships everything he should get most of the money in 6 months minus disputes, which my guess after looking at his listings would be around 50 grand, I'd say. |
@jbluntz, unless eb ay sent out their e-mail to winning buyers about potential fraud transaction/listing cancellation. Then a lot of people might be doing claims, etc. A lot of customer service to be handled.
All the best to him either way - seems like he pushed very hard.
I LOVE this feedback line:
haven't got shoes yet, just ordered but i love them and its a great price thanks
ha alias. |
| stickmade | 07-15-2011 11:03 AM | i guess he wasn't legit after all:doh: |

There seems to be no tracking details
*I forgot to mention i recieved a MC015 message off ebay for the item the morning after i purchased it* |
| nobody999 | 07-18-2011 01:56 PM | isn't it odd though that ebay/paypal didn't suspended him sooner for having so much sales and $$ coming into his paypal account so quick? |
@User_Name - you got a MC115 on your account - what else did you buy? |
| GreenBean | 07-18-2011 07:32 PM | Another MC115? ebay are dishing them out. They got me too....hmmm. :spy:
I think this is a clone account of a seller that got mentioned in another thread here. |
| isellmore59 | 07-18-2011 11:30 PM | Whats a mc115? |
| User Name | 07-19-2011 01:10 AM | @rsot - some trainers from him for £7.99. If eBay suspect he is a scammer, i put in a dispute then he is no longer registered etc why don't they automatically refund everyone? It was an MC015 loss prevention message I got |
Ah ok MC015 - not MC115 - my bad on the reading =) |
| User Name | 07-19-2011 01:51 PM | Just got this off the seller. Quote:

| User Name | 07-21-2011 03:29 PM | Hi everyone thanks for the comments,
I was just wondering what i should reply to the quote i mentioned in my last post, i dont want ebay to see the dispute and think im ignoring the seller and then favour them
