VeRO member ending already ended items
 

Guys,

I had 75+ items running in my store but had to close it due to 3 VeRO hits.

I did not revise the listings (title / desc / pics) before doing so because e B a y would become very suspicious if I did that to all my listings.

Despite that, if a VeRO member reported an item to e B a y, it has been already targetted (by title or item number) even if I would have modified it before closing my store.

I know that VeRO members ending ended listings is not something really uncommon, but most of the VeRO takedowns are applied to current listings, not ended ones. My question is, have you experienced several takedowns of already ended items or does it happen only once in a while?

I have already 3 x MC999's. How many can an account take? The account is from 2007, excellent feedback and Above Standard seller performance.

3? I would consider myself lucky to still be operating - I don't know a set limit but I can only suggest to be careful.

Well, I have closed my store now. Hopefully my items will vanish soon.

I know I could have revised them before closing the store, but it might loom too suspicious for e B a y to revise 75+ listings and end them afterwards.

One more and they will give you the 1 yr suspension.

I know, but my orignal question was that even if I know that it can happen, I wanted to know if it's a common thing that already ended items are removed by VeRO or it's something that doesn't happen very often even if, again, it can.

It happens frequent enough

And what leads it to happen, rsot? Is it VeRO members searching for ended listings? Listings that are already targetted but somehow shot at a later date? Items reported during the active period but removed by e B a y with a delay?

Yes Ve Ro members can search for ended listings - hell, even eb ay employees will look for it and fire it up. I don't have so much experience with this - only have had it happen to an old account when I was doing ebo ok antics.

i had an account since 2005 with excellent DSR with 99.5 and in the last 3 months iv'e gotten hit with 7 Vero removals:
1st violation: 7 day suspension
2nd violation: 30 day suspension
and finally: 1 year suspension and all my listings were removed
As many recommend here stay away from selling in that account until the vero violations are removed, and your policy compliance is high, let it cool off and move on to other accounts

Yea man thast some BULLLLL happened to me, when i was a noob on ebay on my LEGIT account and had like 4 or 5 vero hits and got the 1 yr ban
i thought they were just goin to keep on removing my items i didn't know they would SUSPEND me lol i know..
cant wait till Nov/December :)

funny thing.. that account was only a few months old and it took like 5 hits.. now adays.. you get suspended then a a hit lol

yep, had a 1000+ account go down to 1 year suspension, and only got hit with VERO two times.
It may have been an inconvenience, but it actually is a good thing. If you sell over 5K VERO on any one account, they can get the feds involved.
Plus they have saved me a ton on fees, as I walk away from the stealth accounts after 2-3 months.
