After 3 months my account limit has been increased $100

I went from only being able to list 10 items/$1000 a month to now, 20 items and $1100. Is this a joke? What now? lol. I sell used books and some toys and have had perfect feedback as a seller. I've had this account since October. Will my limits be raised to $1200 in another 3 months???

Give eBay a call if you need the limit to be raised

There are many ways around the item limit/price limit.

If you have legit info call in.
Or after you click confirm location. Take the online quiz with the 4 questions. Just be warned they use a DMV database and sometimes you will get hard question like license plate and driver license number.
Link to account with higher limit.
There are also a few ways to trick the limit killbot when listing also. That is all I call say. Experiment and you will find a way around.

STOP OPENING NEW THREADS ABOUT THIS TOPIC! This is the way it is, whether you want to bitch about it or now. Here is the break down....

Day 1 - Day 90 (10 Items / $250-$1,000 Limit )
Day 91-Day 120 (100 Items / $1100 - $3,000 Limit )
- - - Every Month After YOU NEED To Call eBay To Raise Limited - - -
- - - They Will DOUBLE BOTH Items/Limit Every 30 Days - - -
- - - Your Items/Limit Is NEVER LIFTED Completely - - -

Yes, actually e B a y is a joke. Their policies are the most ridiculous, unfair and silly I have ever seen. The new selling limits policy beats any April Fools Day's joke I could have ever been told.

Responding your second question, until now seller limits used to lift as time went by. But now, they not only are here to stay (ie they won't be removed), but might also get tigher.

For example, I have an account with outstanding selling history, 1+ year old, 100% positive feedback, EX DSR's, no low DSR's, no complaints, no VeRO, no high-risk items, had listed 1000's items in the past and sold 100's and got limited from no limits at all to 30 items a month. The MC999 restriction notification email came like a ball out of the blue, even after months of having the account in sleeping status.

Is that a smart move by them? Do they consider losing fees a smart policy? Do you find a justification for such cut?

How does one have to feel as a honest and serious seller who brings most of the hours of the day to comply with the buyers satisfaction? Where's our honest sellers dignity? Isn't e B a y a joke? You tell me.

You might all say that I am not forced to sell on their site, and you are 100% right. I blame myself for having invested so much time and hope in a company that threats me like a piece of s*it. You all bet that I am doing my last moves on their f*cking site and I am getting prepared to move on. I just need some time, but I am already packing my cases. I don't give a sh*t on their site anymore, and I hope they sink and cry for us sellers to be back. My response will be short and clear: "F*CK YOU".

I offer my apologies for my anger, but I thank you on the other hand for letting me express myself. I bet that I am not the only one who feels like this.

Same here kryunn - TR account, very proper then bam limits - figure it's the move they do when they don't want to hit you with ID verification

Funny thing is that the account I was talking about had been already verified (Abusing e B a y -> faxed all docs -> reinstated). Then started selling, listed 1000+ items, proved enogh that I am reliable, didn't cause a single problem, and then, after several months of completely wise behaviour I get the MC999 email.

But you know what, I am glad after all that it has happened, because I needed this last proof of total insanity to consider that it's time to move on and live a better life doing something else. I had enough of e B a y fears. What it comes, will be way better.
