Refunding buyer when case is open and account suspended
 

So my ebay account has been temporarily suspended for feedback manipulation and a buyer has opened a case against me.

I would like to refund them but theres no option in paypal as the funds are held and I cant access my selling history because my account has suspended. I have called paypal and they said they cannot do anything as the payment is held by ebay. Is there any way to refund the buyer without contacting ebay - wouldn't want to slip up and ruin one of my best albeit suspended stealth accounts.

If I simply sent the money via paypal to the email address of the buyer would this close the case automatically and register as a refund?

i guess if you do nothing and the buyer will escalate this to a claim, still you do no refund and paypal will automatically decide the case in the buyer's favour, paypal will then charge your account. then you need to think of a way to pay paypal. it is much better than sending a random money to a random email address on paypal. doing that will not automatically mark the case as refunded, the buyer still has the right to claim from you.

Just close all credit cards and bank accounts associated with this ebay and Paypal account and screw them. Cancel your email associated with the account. If you were stealth you are dissappeared
