Need Help With Card Verification on eBay
 

I attempted to list an item on a brand new, completely clean Stealth eBay account. I need to create a Sellers account to do so and need to add a payment method in order to pay the fees.

I tried to add an unused Visa Debit (Flex Account) from Nationwide but it said -

"Verification could not be confirmed, please correct your details"

I then tried with another unused Visa Debit (Easycash) from Halifax but it said -

"Please ensure that the Security Code numbers are correct".

I've entered all numbers on both cards correctly twice but it's not accepting either of them. The balance on both of the cards is £0.00 - could that be the problem? Do they need to have money on them in order to work?

Or, I know you shouldn't, but should I just choose PayPal as an option? Because I have a feeling that would work...

you need to have a few bucks on the card. E bay charges the card to ensure that the card is A) Real and B) yours. the charge goes away in a few days. But from my experience, prepaid cards do not work. Not sure about the UK.

You have to have a balance on these cards for them to kick in - £10 I believe

Just put £3 on the Nationwide one to see if that was the problem. Tried again, went through phone verification and item is now listed :clap:
