Got hit with MC999 after listing ended!
 

Got MC999 this morning on all 4 stealth accounts two days after the listing ended on Sunday. How can they do this on ended listing?

Sadly, eB ay has and can do this - this has been done countless times. Probably some user did a completed search and reported. What were the item in question?

they were vero items, but thought to be under radar only sold about 8 per account. and then sold out of them on sunday night. figured I'd be ok

know have to deal with emails from buyers asking what's up. not a big deal thought I just tell them something. normal when you tell them they can return and purchase in store for 200-300% more than what they paid for it there ok with it

Yeah I got a random MC999 this morning. It really came out of the blue, that's what pisses me off the most.

I'm selling one sports jersey and they pull the listing, And I got two warnings for the same listing :clap:

Ugh, I hate how the owners can just pick and choose what they think is f a k e.

More importantly, if you have to abandon the accounts and start over, you obviously weren't careful enough because all 4 accounts were linked.

I received any other notice since. account still up and running. will they shut down soon

"all 4 stealth accounts" you said were hit with MC999. I guess time will tell. I would start up another stealth just in case. But if ALL 4 received the same message, you are linked somehow.

Do you have a previous account (before the 4 you have now) that was suspended or restricted?

I'm sure it is the VERO items that gave you a MC999, however for you to get it on ALL 4 at the same time, means you are linked. It is not easy to run 4 stealth accounts at the same time. Have you read the forums very carefully on this topic?

That COULD mean they are linked, but it could also just be that they were all just flagged for VeRo as they were flagging other sellers of the same product.

But you are right, they could have been linked for something as simple as using the same photos in the auctions or similar descriptions.

I wouldn't want to wait around to find out. I would work with them, keep them to see what happens. I would also think about starting another just in case to lat it mature.

I have not touched them......yes i have another 3 accounts on standby already to go. I used different pic and back grounds different user ids, different ip. someone on here suggested that a vero person could have looked at completed listing and found all four were complete over weekend even though the listing closed Sunday night and got hit tuesday morning

Too much of a coincidence if they all went down at the same time. If you want to find out, call them up about one and ask what the restriction is for. They will tell you, then you will know for sure. Sometimes if they are watching closely they can link just by similar activity on different accounts. Listing the same things on all accounts is not a good idea. Sell different things on each one.

yeah the MC999 was for trademark violation. and i was logging on all 4 accts. each morning before work to see if any sells went through. Only other thing would be when i would ship the package in Pay pal I was changing the origin (zip code ) of were the items were shipping from.
(this is driving me crazy trying to figure out) don't want to make same mistake on other accounts

Did you switch IP address and users EACH time you switched when logging into each account? If you log into one you have to change those before you log into the next, and each after that. It is a real pain and is time consuming but many of us have made that mistake.

i use a 3G dongle and it gives me a new ip address each time

It's because all 4 were selling the same thing - maybe similar pattern of activity - that the OP got linked. Someone or something reported all the listings and it's a simple mc999 to have suspicion of link.

you might be right. next time i will wait 10-15 min before logging on to each one.....that's why they say have 2-3 back ups ready to go and let these cool off.
