"We were unable to verify this credit card." Vanilla Gift card
 

I've been trying this for the 3rd time.. trying to lift the limit on the pp account with a vanilla gift card... i've done this before.. but the last 3 times i've tried in multiple accounts with different cards.. i've been getting the same error message on paypal

"We were unable to verify this credit card. Please check if the information you entered is correct. If the problem persists, please try to enter a different credit card."

I've registered the correct zipcode for the card online at vanilla.
Could it be because i JUST bought the card and i should wait like a day to try to use it to verify it?
i dont know what is going on..

I used one yesterday and it has worked fine. Might be the card it self.

only half the vanillas work now days the ones that start with 431568 will not work. see here

depending on where u bought them u can use the ones u bought to buy new ones.

Some workers who take there job WAY TO SERIOUS will act like they cant sell them to you if u pay useing the giftcards which is BS cause i never had a issue with the payments not working but had many issues with the idiots workers not wanting to sell them to me.

yea.. but got a pm on how to BYPASS this.. all cards WORK!.. think outside the box :)
you could just open it up a little bit and look at the date also lol

I'm getting this error message also, but with an Entropay card. It worked on another account before, but it doesn't work for me anymore. Anyone care to help?
