Risky names?
 

Hi all, I couldn't find a similar thread.

I'm wondering - are there such things as risky eBay names? Can you get veroed for having a name such as "louise vuitton" or something? I know it's not the exact term "Louis Vuitton" so it's not technically owned by that company, but I imagine that if they were to report you eBay would find it fishy you are using such a name.

Anyone ever had this sort of thing happen? I just ask because I was doing my usual cool/interesting username search and came across a few of these types. I wouldn't be selling anything to do with them though, just figured they might be memorable enough to get return customers :)

You mean angry customers will remember the name more as well? Well that's true...but I mean if a customer is on a mission to ruin your life it's really not hard for them to just check the email they got when sending you payment/winning your item.

Anyone else think anything? :bump:

I think you would be better off with a funny or witty name if you are trying to get noticed. Those are the ones I tend to remember.

Doing what you are proposing would bring unnecessary attention to your account, and that is not what we are trying to achieve with stealth.
