How to Prevent PayPal linking

You create an eBay account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name. Then you should also create a PayPal account with the same ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name.

Then go to eBay an explicitly link these two accounts.


Guess what? Now if you going to pay for something using your real PayPal account which is already associated with a banned eBay account, there will not be linking, and you will be in business..

Don't know about accepting payments, don't ask. Someone needs to try it with payments.

That 'goide' will not work. It is a known fact that ebay/paypal link. Associate
anything and you run the risk of either being suspended for ebay or limited for
paypal.

If you are making a guide, why offer one that is not sound? It just gets too
confusing. I wish you good luck in trying to make it work. But fine tune it, first.

No, this will definitely get you suspended. I have purchased w/old PP account that was associated w/suspended EB account & guess what???? You got it -- suspended. Didn't find this forum before I did that :)

I'm aware of those sections on paypal linking. Read them all. But fact is:


Make eBay account, with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ PayPal as described. Linked them. And then bought an item and paid with my old PayPal which is associated with a suspended eBay account.

That was back when I had 0 feedback, now I have close to 50 feedback and selling on that account in full force.


I'm pretty sure you all tried paying with paypal account linked to suspended eBay account, but have you tried what I suggested?


Probably not. Because it somehow worked for me. Magic, ain't it. I'm not gonna try to prove it. Take it for what it is.

OK, here's my recap: you are saying that you have an ebay/paypal linked with
false information? Yes.
Then you buy an item on ebay. You use another paypal account to pay? This
account has no association at all with the account. Yes.
You feel that this will continue to work.... just for you? Yes.

Sorry, No Way. One day as yet unknown, you are going to get linked.

As of now, it did not get me suspended.

Though, that's not how I receive payments or send payments now. I had emergency with my bike and needed parts, and done that. As a side effect discovered my account was not suspended. How cool!
