Merchant account chargebacks
 

Let me ask a question, do u have trouble with chargebacks with your merchant provider.

HI: I use
--Paypal-- Yes, (everyone knows why)
--CCnow-- no probs for me, 0 chargebacks in 6 months
--google checkout- 0 chg backs, 7 months
---authorize.net-- no probs, 0 chgbacks,
---first data--0 chargebacks
amazon--3 yrs-no chargebacks

BUT... I dont let the situation get to a chargeback, when the folks are unhappy..

paypal is the only place where you will have trouble with chargebacks because they dont fight them. Giving a tracking number and email corrrespondants to linkpoint (who i use for credit cards) is enough to get them to fight for you.

That's amazing. I had a chargeback after my first month. The buyer filed a chargeback without telling me because the idiot got scared by the ebay letter saying I was no longer registered.

Paypal are terrible with chargebacks, ive used paymate on & off .. no problems there.

I've only had chargebacks where people claim their card is stolen. Sometimes they are lying and I have proof. Now I make them all sign for the items as credit card companies don't care about delivery confirmation, only signature.

I haven't had any chargebacks either on my merch, got a fair few on PP tho. I think with all the paypal phishing emails, it's more likely you're going to get a chargeback than on a merch.
