Copied eBay Listing
 

I have a buyer who copied my ebay listing Title and description, It was on one of my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts so should i report him or just let it be? not sure if it will draw any unwanted attention to myself but i do want to report him also lol

Ive done this a few times on ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accts, no problems, people love to copy my pics and descriptions..

i meant to say i saw another seller selling the same item as i am. He stole my listing description, he stole my Youtube video i had going and the outline beside it explaining what the video was about, he is even using the same exact title i am using. The only difference is he is using a different style template them me, should i complain or just let it go? Like i said i use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account so i dont know if i should bring any unwanted attention towards my ebay ID.

Yeah I know...like I said above...other sellers copy my listings exactly...I turn them in and get them pulled...no problems...my accounts are ⊗⊗⊗⊗...

how do i turn them in? this is the first time this has happend to me

Is it an exact cut and paste or just very similar. There are only so many ways you can describe certain items. Whats the link.

Yeah if its similar they probably won't do anything. The ones ive turned it were exact copy and paste. And also stole the pics. Also I only do it if I have one up, sometimes I sell rare stuff and I hate searching for it and 2 results with the same pic and exact description. One mine and one some other lazy seller.

I reported someone for fully copying & pasting my listing, ebay did nothing except give me some automated response on their rules about it. i ended up using my "snooping" account by bidding on there item and winning it without paying. dont rele matter if they leave negative fb because the account is useless anyway.

I have the same thing happening. When I write them, some say sorry and tell me a story like how their "friend" gave them the pictures to use. Others don't even respond.

If you own copyright on pictures and have registered it somewhere you can VERO.

But for text watch out if they start using your exact text. If they use your text long enough and you don't have records of all your old stuff they can then report you for copying them.
