Could the delivery address f*ck me up?
 

I have a successful stealth account confirmed and verified etc with Paypal/eBay, however the address on eBay isn't my own, its a Chinese restaurant down the street, If I changed the delivery address to my own could they link to a suspended account and close?

i personally would not change the address

as most times ppl want to return they will tell you,then you can tell them to return to where you want via email etc

or you can put a note in with the return address in or you can write it on the parcel

I have several old ebay accounts 05-06's that I just recently remembered I had, I have successfully converted them over to stealth and have been selling with no problem and I mean from the name change, email, address everything but then again I live e-life on the edge lol I wouldn't suggest doing what I did on a new account listen to the mods they know their stuff

No but I mean if I want to buy something, unless I want it going to the Chinese I am going to have to change my address.

use a friends address for delivery?

Just open a mailbox and change the address to the mailbox address, I've done that plenty of times, but not on a brand new accounts even though I have changed the address slightly many times on new accounts when I used to use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address's, I'd have to change it up to match postal records, never had any problems doing that either. Just wait till the accounts a little established then change the address.

Don't have any friends accounts to use, and a PO Box just looks dodgy.

Yeah like ebay's got nothing else to do but search for people using PO boxes "Oh there's one, let's shut this guy down he must be up to no good" lol. There's tons business's and top rated sellers that use mailboxes.

Just checked the prices, I don't know what its like in the US but in the UK you have 2 options, rent for 6 months or a year. 6 months £95 a year £170 total rip off. Any more options?

Yea I guess that must be steep up there, it's only about $10 per month here, all my longest lasting accounts well over a year old are linked to mailboxes and the address was changed at one point, so I know it makes a solid account. GTB already answered the other options above which is to put the return address on the package or send it to there e-mail.

Open a new account for buying and leave the stealth account alone. Use a new name and the same address and just buy on it. (New user account though!!)

Excellent idea. Might use my sons name and my address, but then I wonder how what would work with the 1 paypal account? That might shaft me, they could link.

Don't use that Paypal account - open a new one - if you are just buying you should be fine. Get a prepaid card in your own name and then get an additional card in the new name and use that to fund the Paypal account. If you try to sell on it expect trouble. Ebay values buyers more than sellers. Buyers don't trade in Foo-Foo

I want to do both buy and sell, basically at the moment I am selling rubbish to build feedback, I eventually want to shift a phone I have and buy a new phone without getting limited, without 180 day hold.

I can already see the problem coming before I start, I sell my phone, Paypal put the 21 day hold so have to ship ASAP to get my fund, funds get released I buy the new phone, delivery address is linked to suspended account, limited, asked to fax identification etc, limited permanently, 180 day hold.

Like i keep saying mate. In the UK its a totally different ball game. So much harder to run a usable stealth account. i have the exact same problem.

I can only tell you that I got away with it for 3 months and then had 2 eb & 2 PP accts. linked that way. Why even take a chance. My income is way too important to risk. I would ask a friend or aquaintance & even offer a gift after a while based on your success which what I am going to do. Good luck.
