eBay/Paypal Business accounts? please help :)
 

hi guys, i wonder if you can help me:

Basically all my accounts are personal at the moment.., the stealth accounts are ageing but once up and running all my sales will be split between the different accounts..., my question is, technically according to ebay and paypal "i do have a business" as i "buy to resell for a profit", im keeping a good record of everything just incase i ever need the paperwork..., but i do not see myself as a business at all, but i suppose thats besides the point...if i have lets say 3 ebay and 3 paypal accounts and am splitting the sales up, do i need to have a business account? or can i continue to keep them as personal accounts? if i ever did make a business account, i heard that eBay immeditaley notifies the inland revenue?...but if i have 3 stealth accounts, i dont get how it all works, id like a brief explanation of what most of you guys do

Besides, you'd have higher selling limits registering as a business!

On what platform are your pp accounts based - i.e. UK? US?

Ebay do not notify the revenue but equally if the revenue ask they will not protect you. Business accounts are always stronger than private accounts.

they are based in Spain, ES.

so do i just need an ebay business account?
or do i need a paypal aswell? and can i just convert the new stealth account i made a few days ago to a business account without raising any flags?, also if its not in my name does this matter at all? also how do you guys pay taxes seeing as stealth account are with **** info? or is there no need to worry at the moment, when my sales are minimal...?

well this is what i dont understand, i have a couple of account registered in Spain which i sell 60% in spain and 40% in ebay uk, the other 2 are registered in UK and solely sell on ebay uk... PM perhaps? i just dont want to get it all wrong, trying to do as much research as poss before i start big, thanks
