Sick and Tiired of ebay

After what I have heard about Ebay, I'll be setting up my auction website and have people list for free. The hell with ebay, charging all these outragous fees for what. Shareholders, Ceo's mansions.

I will work on this right away and if you can help me out by getting traffic to the site, that'll be great.

Take Ebay's model and make it free. I'm sure that'll piss someone off. Maybe they will lower their fee's and stop making people accept Paypal.

Tell me what you think and if have your support.

You don't think I can do it.

there are a ton of other auction sites out there that do not even come close to compeating with ebay.

and the main thing about what you said is "I". i think you would need more than just yourself to bring ebay down. tons of money and investors would be a good start.

goodluck, whats it called?, its a shame we dont have a worldwide competitor to eBay, that would really give them a run for there money.

I find with the competitor sites that there not very well layed out, not very attractive, and kinda all over the place.

it should be too long before some legal body stamps all over ebay for the shody operations and monopoly particularly their tieing of services and product, ie you can't use their service (auction) unless you take one of their products (paypal).

But as others have said it will be hard to compete with ebay especially as the original auction site QXL hasn't come close to them.

ebay will never be taken out despite the obvious monopolization of their market, it's not a complete monopoly per say but they force you to use Paypal, not to mention any rising auction sites that they see as a threat are bought out. although the mass public views ebay as a friendly site, but we all know how shady they really are.

fact is many people are not happy with ebay. if there was a decent worldwide option it would have the potential to attract people over a long period.
