| | | shoot2kill | 11-01-2011 05:48 PM | ...Aww MAN no more 1-Day Auctions! ...Well for my new accounts no more 1-day auctions, I wonder how many feedbacks you need now so you can list 1-day auctions! |
| BiN4RY | 11-01-2011 05:52 PM | This is getting ridiculous |
| shoot2kill | 11-01-2011 05:56 PM | ...Blah, right when I order a lot of vero too! |
| KingRay | 11-01-2011 10:01 PM | Probably just another thing added to the list of stuff that people took advantage of and they had to shut it down.
There is no other reason other than that really. |

There is no other reason other than that really. | I sure did :D in the last few years, but there has to be a feedback amount so you can list one day auctions a 6 month old account with 9 seller feedback can not do it so the old 5 feedback to list one day auctions is out of the question! |
| exxomscp | 11-02-2011 01:48 AM | Depends on your category, I can still list for 1 day; but I bet it's not yours. |
| jbluntz | 11-02-2011 02:23 AM | You must have just got into a new product like software or something because it's been like that ever since I started for certain categories, I can still list 1 day auctions in other categories but you can still use BIN in the categories that require 5 or more day auctions which is better anyway. |
He said she said stuff again. |
| yotano211 | 11-02-2011 05:01 AM | I think it said somewhere, 10 or more feedback to list 1 day auction or 5 with linked paypal. |
| jbluntz | 11-02-2011 05:09 AM | You can list 1 day auctions with 0 feedback, has to do with the category. |
| FandangoKango | 11-02-2011 05:52 AM | DON'T SCARE ME! I can still list 1 day auctions :) |
| KoltiKolt | 11-02-2011 09:26 AM | something happened as of yesterday i cant list any more 1 day auctions. accounts are pp linked with 5 feedbacks at least |
| jbluntz | 11-02-2011 09:58 AM | What category was it? I just went in a second ago and listed a dvd on a 1 day auction. |
| cardfelon | 11-02-2011 10:17 AM | You can still list 1 day auctions in the adult section!!! =} |
| shoot2kill | 11-02-2011 12:32 PM | ...Well no more 1 day in DVD and Health Section for me! Oh man let go check a few accounts or it could be the items I am selling! Quote:

| FandangoKango | 11-02-2011 03:59 PM | Well I can confirm that I can no longer list 1 day auction listings on my 0 feedback accounts and they are past 30 days. I tried all kinds of categories. I don't even see an ebay announcement! |

"For a 1-day listing, your Feedback score has to be at least 10, or if you have a PayPal account and accept PayPal as a payment method, your Feedback score has to be at least 5." |

TRUE! :thumb: | Maybe it has to be 5 seller feedback and not buyer feedback? Ebay is getting retarted and I don't know how they do not realize they are losing money! |
| KoltiKolt | 11-03-2011 02:06 AM | if it was up to ebay they would allow any kind of auctions but they experience so much pressure from vero they need to stop allowing people listing that stuff because vero sues ebay for that... and ebay is bunch of coards now |
| exxomscp | 11-03-2011 02:15 AM | I'm just honestly pissed things are getting so damn hard, even to be legit.. Quote:

eBay has taught me a valuable lesson over the years of being a seller.. VeRO is basically a bunch of greedy companies which see their pumped prices dissolved at the hands of the eBay community, claiming to protect their interests and their products. eBay wants to avoid litigation in any way possible as they've grown too fast and been too experimental. It happens and will continue to happen because the items are literally worth the price of the bid, not the price of retail.. and this carries over into other markets even worse (such as Craigslist). I never consider official retail when it comes to VeRO items and anyone with the right mind on eBay won't when you realize how much this stuff is actually supposed to be worth..
Preferably in eBay's eyes because of the IRS you can be marked off as a "loss" and you are expendable if they feel like it, and therefore they don't have to report and aren't accountable for your business any longer if you were one of the "bad eggs."
Backontopica:
Shouldn't be too hard to get 5-10 feedback.. just gotta be a little more patient. They're pushing that rule back with the DSRs; I don't usually expect to get my DSRs the first month just because of how lazy buyers are for leaving feedback. I think you'll make it through.. |
| FandangoKango | 11-03-2011 10:34 AM | Anybody has any news yet on how much feedback you need actually or is there an ebay announcement? |
| slokor | 11-03-2011 11:08 PM | Looks like an account will need at least 10 feedbacks to post a 1 day auction from now on.
I checked several of my accounts and thats the conclusion - checked a couple with 9 feedback and a few with 11 and 12 feedbacks and thats the result. |

| BiN4RY | 11-03-2011 11:44 PM | Hmmm I can still list 1 day listings with new zero feedback accounts, maybe its because im canadian :amen: |
| KoltiKolt | 11-04-2011 02:43 AM | yes but the problem is with ebay.com ebay.co.uk and ebay.ca still have 1 day auction option... it is matter of time while they adapt new standards from .com |
| BiN4RY | 11-04-2011 02:54 AM | I tried listing on .com, and I still have the 1 day auction option |

| exxomscp | 11-05-2011 02:24 AM | BTW; A little tip for the newer auctioneers out there is that you can list 3 day auction listings and as soon as they get a bid you can end the item early with a winner. I've been able to pull off 1 day listings this way to get around it. This is only if your building feedback though, not recommended with other items. |
| seanws30 | 11-06-2011 03:45 PM | i havent come across any limits on 1 day auctions yet. im guessing it has to do with feedback as well. both accounts i have are less than 90 days old and have more than 10 feedback and can list 1 day auctions |

I just buy a few items to get 10 Feedback and I am oK! |
| jbluntz | 11-07-2011 12:39 PM | That's nothing new, that's all I've ever done anyway 20+ feedback more like it. |
| Iwuvcurrency | 11-09-2011 09:47 PM | I tried this out for myself.. all you need is 10 feedbacks to do a 1 day auction.I had 8 on one account, as soon as i got too 10 it was ok. I thought it used to be like this in the past but maybe it was only for buyitnows.. idk.. but just make sure you have 10 fdbks |

| ingle92protege | 11-15-2011 03:58 AM | Im still able to list one day auction with a brand new account.
Maybe it is just a USA thing... I know certain vero items can only be listed for 3day+ |
| FandangoKango | 11-15-2011 11:00 AM | Im selling vero and this is new here in the usa. Before I could list 1 day auctions. Now I only can list 3 day with less than 8 feedback accounts. |
| Sandy D | 11-16-2011 05:27 PM | With the 5000 free listings yesterday I took advantage of tons of listings with 1 day listings and make a killing with them.
I spent 13 hours listing for the free listings day on several accounts with many one days listings.
I was able to list up to my limits on a newer account for one day. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:20 AM. | |
