Does Eb phone number have to match pp?
 

Just a quick question, I have a pp account already set up with limits lifted, verified and everything is fine. I am now going to set up an ebay account with the same information but a different phone number as I don't have my old number anymore. Will this cause any problems? Thanks

Not sure if they have to be, but why can't you change your pp number to the one on your ebay?

I can, I suppose. I didn't really think about doing that as I was under the impression that once you got your paypal rolling with limits lifted you wouldn't really wanna change anything such as address, or phone.

Yeah you can change it, but I think you can also just add a number with the one you already have.. So I think I would just add the one on your ebay if I was you.

That way you're not changing anything, just adding.

Probably not a big deal one way or the other as long as everything else matches.

BUT: If PayPal tries to call you and they get a non-working number or unable to get a hold of you, that is where your problems will begin.

If it was me, I would change the phone number. :)

Working phone number is a MUST. preferable to have matching info for ebay/paypal so quickly consider changing the number.:juggle:
