It seems that some people get different limits at different times.
This is whats happening with my two latest steath's... both exactly the same limits and both sell similar items but different pics and setup. Opened 3 days apart from each other
10 items max $500 for the first 90 days( that was after the first sale, not when i signed up) got 12 feedback 100% sold 18 items total in them 90 days
20 items max $1000 4th month limit got 21 feedback 100% sold 25 items total in 4 months
30 items max $1500 5th month limit got 28 feedback 100% sold 36 items total in 5 months
40 items max $2000 still working on this month got 34 feedback so far ..so far i sold 13 this month
the feedback and the sold are +-1
Some buyers just refuse to leave feedback. I've tried the nice letter, the sweet feedback for them, and even called a few on the phone. I might have gotten a couple more feedbacks out of it but i don't wanna piss anyone off and they neg me for bothering them so i just take what i can get until i figure something else out.
It is a sloww sloww process(at least for me)
I have no idea how long it will take to finally reach 100 or even a 1000 item limit
I have since opened 2 more accounts and sold a couple items from around the house on each.
You must get that 1st sale before the limits start.
I'm lucky that i do have 1 real account thats a power seller top rated 99.6 and 5 4.9 4.9 5
If i lose that one, i'm screwed until these others take off so i'm pretty careful with it.

Everyone says to create more accounts and spread the sales...Its the best advice that i was given.
I'm kinda limited by my ip's right now so i won't go hog wild creating accounts yet. When i get the ol' dial-up hooked up, i will make a feww more.
The hardest thing for my limits is i have to pay top dollar for the listing fee's(.50 vs .20 with a store) and i cant use any variations for the different colors or sizes without burning up items limit. If you have 15 colors available for 1 item and you use the color variation setup for your listing, then E bay considers that as 15 items you are listing, not 1
I dunno just how long at this pace i will be able to ever use the variations chart for my listings. I really need the item limits to be around at around 1000 to list 66 items with 15 different color variations. At the pace they are raising the limits, i figure about 2020:eek:
Without buyers auctually choosing their color at the purchase, all i can do is offer the colors in the item description, AND believe me, that opens up a can of worms because now i have to chase them down to find out the color they want or take a chance and send them the default color and hope they don't neg me for sending them the color they really wanted but never told me.
